O.C. Sanitation delivered a green 60 gallon (or 95 gallon, if you have requested) garbage receptacle to your home on Tuesday, November 15th. It was mandatory as of December 1st to begin using that receptacle. If your trash is not in the receptacle starting December 1st, it will not be picked up. Billing for the receptacle will begin on the December water bill. If you have more garbage than will fit in the receptacle, you can visit Heidi at the City Office and purchase an “Extra Garbage Tag” for $1/tag to be placed on the extra garbage. Each “Extra Garbage Tag” is 35 gal. equivalency. If you have any questions regarding the new receptacles, please feel free to contact Heidi at the City Office at 712-752-8593.
